WORST DAY

This little guy is sitting at the bar just staring at his drink. He's been sitting there for half an hour when this big trouble-making truck driver steps next to him, grabs his drink and gulps it down in one swig. The poor little guy starts crying. "Come on man, I was just giving you a hard time," says the truck driver. "I'll buy you another drink. I just can't stand to see a man crying."
"This is the worst day of my life," says the little guy between sobs. "I can't do anything right. I overslept and was late to an important meeting, so my boss fired me. When I went to the parking lot, I found my car was stolen and I have no insurance. I grabbed a cab home but, after the cab left, I discovered I had forgotten my wallet in it. At home I found my wife in bed with the mailman. So I came to this bar and was thinking about putting an end to my life, and you show up and drink the damn poison."

Why am I tired? . . .

For a couple of years I've been blaming it on lack of sleep, not enough sunshine, too much pressure from my job, earwax buildup, poor blood or anything else I could think of.

But now I found out the real reason: I'm tired because I'm overworked.

Here's why: The population of this country is 273 million. 140 are retired. That leaves 133 million to do the work.

There are 85 million in school, which leaves 48 million to do the work.

Of this, there are 20 million employed by the federal government, leaving 19 million to do the work.

2.8 million are in the armed forces preoccupied with killing the Taliban and getting rid of Osama Bin Ladden. Which leaves 16.2 million to do the work.

Take from that total the 14,800,000 people who work for state and city governments and that leaves 1.4 million to do the work.

At any given time there are 188,000 people in hospitals, leaving 1,212,000 to do the work.

Now, there are 1,211,998 people in prisons. That leaves just two people to do the work.

You and me. And there you are sitting on your ass, at your computer reading.

Nice, real nice.

DISNEYLAND TRIP MARCH 2008

This is our Disneyland trip Ken, Sandy and Kyle went on in March. It was so fun. We did everything we wanted to do. We spent 3 days in the two Disney parks. Our feet were so sore however from the walking, walking, walking. But oh well, what do you do? This is a picture of Ken and Kyle. They are in a fish net being caught with the fish. I think it looks kinda fishy!!

This is a picture of all of us after a ride like the "Rattle-snake Rapids" in Lagoon. Kyle decided he didn't want a raincoat! We rode it with a lady and a little girl who didn't speak english. It was cool because when the water came over and got in her boot, we all started laughing and we all said "boot" No matter what language you speak we really all speak the same language!!
The other picture is of the front of "Monsters Inc" ride. It was so cute. We all thought that Kyler and Kayden would enjoy that ride.

This is a picture of a Lego Darth Vader in the Lego store. It was very neat. They also had a very big Lego giraffe, NYC, cat, airplane, etc. Kyle loved it. The other picture is of Kyle eating breakfast in a restraunt. He decided he needed a bib!

This is Ken and Kyle climbing the "Tom Sawyer tree" It was very cool and pretty.
The other picture is of a real robot. He could do so many things like climb stairs, run, go get the mail, jump up and down, etc... His name was "Asimo." It stands for: "Advanced Step Up Inovative Mobility Operations" It was really something to see.
