Big Cottonwood Canyon

This is a picture up Big Cottonwood Canyon. It is where there are fossils. Kyle hiked up the hill to look for some.

This is a chess board that Kyle made in school. It is made out of black walnut and ash. It is so pretty, he did a good job.

Kyler and Kayden's new playground

Tyson is the president of the Condo's association. He recently purchased a playground that they had to put together and stain etc... This is the pictures of the playground that the condo's now have for the kids. The kids love it.
Kyler and Ken went fishing one day. Kyler caught 8 fish. He was so excited. It was a fun day for both of them.

Matt was our tour guide on this port. It was everybody's favorite port

They let Matt take us in here where this native lady is carving this totem pole. The piece of wood is over 300 yrs old. It was awesome.

SKAGWAY

Harold and Linda at Emerald Lake. This was the prettiest lakes I have ever seen. It was green!

We got to hold these Alaskan dog sled puppies. This one was 3 weeks old.

We could have gone on a dog sled ride but we just stayed and held them. They were the cutiest things ever!

This is a bear outside our bus window. He was eating dandilions and then they get drunk from them and stagger all over. We didn't see him get drunk though

My mom had a small stroke on the way to the airport to go to Alaska. So we couldn't get them on the ship until 3 days later on the Skagway port. There were a lot of tears, prayers, and miracles.

We were all running to meet my parents when they arrived at the port to board the ship.

JUNEAU

This is Sarah Palin's house on the left in green. In Alaska they say; "we may have the coldest state, but we have the hottest governor"

We went to the prettiest rainforest gardens. Alaska is really a rainforest, I was surprised, I didn't know that.

At this rainforest park, they had the prettiest upside down trees. They took trees that were uprooted in weather and turned them upside down and planted flowers in them.

GLACIER BAY

The glaciers were calving (breaking off) while we were here. It was so loud but awesome. If you look close you can see an eagle on the top of one of the peaks on the right.

You can see where the right side is calving on this glacier.

COLLEGE FJORD

can you see the ice floating in the water? There was an earthquake the day before we got here and it was cool cause it made the ice break off
